Privacy policy
Second Screen Gaming is made by Robokick. This page covers the Windows app and this website. The short version: the app sends nothing to us, and the site only keeps what you type into its request form.
The app
Second Screen Gaming runs entirely on your PC. It has no account, no sign-in, no telemetry and no crash reporting, and it makes no network connections of its own. Your settings, your saved games and its log files are written to its own folder on your computer and nowhere else. Nothing about you, your games or your hardware is sent to Robokick.
The one thing the app shares goes through Steam, and you can turn it off. While the app keeps a game running, it gives that game's name and the number of the screen it is on to the Steam client on your PC, so your Steam friends see them under Second Screen Gaming in their friends list, as Steam's own games do. Switch off "Show your game on Steam" in Settings and no game name is shared.
If you bought the app on Steam, Steam handles the purchase, the download and updates under Valve's own privacy policy. Robokick does not receive your payment details from Steam.
The request form
The one place this site collects anything is the game support request form. It asks for your name, your email address and a message about the game you are trying to run. We use that to answer you and to decide which games to test next, and for nothing else.
Your request reaches us as an email. We keep it only as long as we need to answer you, and your address is never added to a mailing list, sold or shared.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person. Turnstile is a Cloudflare service and runs under Cloudflare's privacy policy; it may read browser signals to make that check, and it does not give us any of them.
Analytics
The site counts page views and a few clicks without cookies and without identifying you. Each event records only the page, the event name, the site that linked to it (host name only), the country the request came from and where on the page a link sat. No IP address, no device identifier and no visitor identifier is stored, so a visit cannot be tied to a person or followed across visits.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare sees the connection details of each request while serving it, under its own privacy policy. We set no cookies.
Your data and your rights
The only personal data we hold is what you sent through the form. To see it, correct it or have it deleted, send a note through the same form and we will do it. If that data were ever exposed, the people in it would be told within 72 hours through this site.
The site and the app are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
This page is always the current policy. If what we collect changes, this page changes with it.
